Black Salt – Ritual Protection Blend

Our Black Salt is a proprietary blend created in-house at Blackwater Apothecary, formulated for ritual use in protection, banishment, and boundary work. Each batch begins with pure Epsom salt, chosen for its cleansing and grounding properties. To this, we add activated charcoal for absorption and transformation—the element of fire and ash, a purifier that holds the memory of what has been burned away. The mixture is then anointed with our house-blended Protection Oil, a carefully crafted fusion of herbs and essences traditionally used for warding and spiritual defense.

This Black Salt is designed for ritual and metaphysical use only. It is not intended for consumption, bathing, or topical application. Use to line thresholds, windowsills, or doorways to create energetic boundaries, or sprinkle at the corners of sacred space to absorb negativity. It may also be added to spellwork or charm bags for grounding, cleansing, and protection.

Each bottle is hand-mixed, charged with intention, and sealed in glass with a natural cork. Because every batch is blended and bottled by hand, slight variations in texture and tone are part of its unique character.
