What the Tide Returned is a limited-edition huile parfumée created for June’s What the Tide Returned collection, inspired by storm water, salt air, moss, rain, ozone, cold marine wind, and the strange little things the sea sends back after everyone has stopped looking for them.

Your perfume oil arrives in a leak-resistant plastic decanting bottle for safe travel and easy pouring, along with a labeled cobalt blue apothecary bottle to serve as your ritual vessel. The practical bottle carries it safely. The cobalt bottle is where it becomes yours.

This set includes The Cobalt Vessel Rite, a simple decanting ritual created for transferring the oil into its final bottle with intention. Before pouring, you are invited to pause, breathe, and think about what you are calling back from the deep: your softness, your voice, your mystery, your glamour, your courage, or the part of you that survived the wreck and still found its way home.

Wear as fragrance, use as ritual oil, or anoint petitions, candles, and altar objects. It is aquatic, atmospheric, rain-soaked, mossy, ozonic, and marine, with the feeling of fogged glass, wet stone, old bottles, and something beautiful washing ashore at the wrong hour.

Directions

Use the included plastic bottle to carefully decant the perfume oil into the cobalt apothecary bottle. Once transferred, apply a small amount to pulse points as fragrance, or use intentionally as a ritual oil.
