Smoke cleansing is an ancient and ubiquitous ritual used by all sorts of people and religions throughout history. Recently, White Sage Smudging has become incredibly popular - much to the detriment of Native White Sage populations in the American West. It is now considered an endangered species due to over-cultivation. 

I work hard to find the most ethical and sustainable suppliers. This sage is grown and harvested on a farm in Arizona.  I'm always happy to share my sourcing information for those interested.
